Make a Fabric Bowl

Awesome results with just a few supplies! make these bowls with your home machine, rope and fabric.

Supply list Rope bowl

- [ ] For a medium sized bowl, less than a yard of fabric or of multiple fabrics
- [ ] Thread, lots of thread (variegated is fun to use)

- [ ] 100% cotton rope 3/16” size is available at the shop and I recommend you use this rope as it has been tested as good for this project - not all ropes are suitable
- [ ] Fabric glue (Elmers 100% washable is fine)
- [ ] Sewing machine in good working order. Be sure it can sew through a height of about 1/4” Test it without threading the needle - put any fabric under the foot, layered to 1/4” or so and be sure the needle will engage and sew
 - [ ] Wide zig zag foot & regular foot
- [ ] Rotary cutter, 12” ruler and mat
- [ ] Scissors or snips

Very handy: An extra bobbin
Clips - 8-10 small binder clips or those cute red clips
A quart/big sandwich size zip lock bag
A gallon size zip lock bag
